I’d go with Favre, that defense is not settled yet.

I don’t think you’d be disappointed in either - but I’d give the nod to Warner. The last time he faced the 9ers? oh, not too bad….484 yrds & 2 TDs. While I doubt highly he’ll repeat that, I still think 300 & 2-3 tds is very reachable for him in that game. I think Favre will be around 225-250 & 1-2 tds, as Miami has the worst rushing DEF in the league (at least based off of 2007 numbers & they haven’t done anything to help that out this off season). That being said, I like Jones this week, but Favre should have a steady game. But if you’re looking for studly not steady = WARNER!

I agree. I would go with warner as well, he has basically no ceiling as to what he can score this game. I think Farve is better for the whole season, but Warner is better for this game.

Where can I get one of those… lol.
The only thing that worries me about Warner is the Jekyll and Hyde coach who has no issues with swapping both Warner and Leinart in the middle of the same game. If Warner starts out poorly and the Cards are behind, there's a good chance Leinart sees the field. If I knew Warner would play the whole game, I'd go with him - but I just don't trust Whiz.

This is a statement game for Favre. The Fins can't stop the run and once Jones has established that Favre will go off IMO. Warner will be looking over his shoulder.
