I drafted Kevin Smith in my main money league & the guy that drafted Rudi cut him after Cinci did. When I heard that he had signed in Detriot, I signed Rudi to my squad. Smart? Dunno yet….I had to drop C.Johnson (TEN) to make room. How about now? Smart? Yes/No?
I figured it was better to have the Det. running game on lockdown than to take a chance of 2 different guys loosing carries (smith to rudi & johnson to white). I figured it was a wise move & only helps solidify my RBs. Yes? Thoughts?
My other RBs are:
Barber - Cowboys
LJ - Chiefs
Turner - Falcons
Young - Broncos
Kev.Smith/Rudi - Lions

kinda - 1/2 point per
I also have Ray Rice. So I could drop Rice & p/u Johnson again.
Any thoughts?

how many rb's do you need to start. whats your roster space. i mean if they aren't gonna make it into your starting line up stick with what you got. c. johnson will be good in ppr leagues i think but don't know if he'll be better than you're top 3. maybe just as many points a selvin but only mystic shanny knows that one.

we can start up to 3 (2rbs 1 flex) - i doubt very much i'd need any rb that deep to start, but ya never know. so basically it comes down to:
a). handcuff smith with rudi - by dropping johnson
b). handcuff smith with rudi - by dropping rice
c). just keep johnson & rice - to hell with rudi

In redraft, with your running backs and the starting roster, I think you may have made the right decision. Although I might have dropped a different player on your team and tried to tap into the trade in value of Johnson.
I would still do that with Rice. Unless the team with McGahee is deep at the RB position, they may be getting pretty nervous. Before anything changes, I would try to sell high on Rice. Don't let him get away cheap. Don't know the rest of your team, but with these RBs I would guess you might be a little light at WR. See if you can get a solid receiver — a starter — from the McGahee owner. Fear + handcuff with good reports = foolish trade (sometimes).

Nugent = in a nutshell was a bet with another owner that Nug would outscore his kicker (crosby) this yr. - arguement was that Favre has made his kickers finish in the top 5 or so & that its not really the kicker himself (longwell/crosby). we’ll see!?
