This is the dilema. In our anual redraft league my wife Stephaine was given the 2nd overall pick in the draft. Being an avid Patriots fan and a self-proclaimed #1 fan of QB Tom Brady, we all thought he would be a lock at #2. But to everybody's surprise with the second overall pick of the 2008 Fantasy draft, Stephanie took Adrian Peterson, RB from the Minnesota Vikings.
A great pick in my opinion, but now she is having second thoughts. And since I have been claiming that Brady is a “product of the system” in New England for years, she does not believe that I am giving an unbias opinion. She did land Eli Manning as her starting QB and has a very well rounded team.
Now I ask for you guys to weigh in. Feedback apperciated from both Brady lovers AND Brady haters alike! Did she make the right pick? You decide!

AP is the absolute right pick at #2. No doubt about it. She can rest assured that she made the right decision.
I wouldn't consider myself a Brady lover or hater but you've got a good thing going if your wife's into FFL!

I had the 2nd pick and took Westbrook, over AP just based off AP is still new, it could have been a fluke season, and westbrook has proven himself year after year. BUT I still think she made the right decision, Eli is going to be an awesome QB this year and put up some decent numbers, brady will put up better numbers(because Brady came from Michigan), but it will only be a 25-45 pt margin between the two in FFL's.
Tell her to rest assure that she made a great pick either way.

AP is the right way to go.
It is erroneous to believe Brady is a “product of the system”…unless you include Manning, Romo….et al.

Product of the system is just my opinion of Brady…..both with New England, and at Michigan, where if he had not been a “product of the system” to begin with, he might never have gotten drafted into the NFL.

dude…dude..NEVER let your wife play…..I let my wife angela play last year, and OF COURSE she picks up AP in the 5th round, grabs brandon marshall late ( everyone laughed ) and storms to the championship and I have heard about it every frikkin day for a year now, lol..she even made me go to the local trophy place and have her a superbowl ring made. 1000 percent serious LOL.
AP is a great pick there, and while I don’t think Brady’s success is all based on the system, I DO think a lot of it was predicated on Moss being so good, and Randy’s track record says not to expect twqo good seasons in a row. Aside from that, let’s face it, Brady was extremely ordinary down the stretch and in the playoffs, his O line is going to have some issues, the Pats have no running game to speak of and I think, overall, they were exposed a little by the Giants and teams are now going to throw the kitchen sink at him in blitz packages all season long ans see if they can’t test that ankle…is hye going to suck ? probably not, but I do see a relatively down year and would not take him that high this year….

Brady a product of the system? Never heard that one.
AP was a very good pick there - hard to pick a QB in the 1st and field a winning team imo. She did the right thing.
