Might have to roll witht he double TEs this year with Heap still left

In all seriousness, under Cam Cameron, Heap could have a huge season and be almost as good as every WR available right here minus Evans and Bowe. I think he is in for a big year and the double TE thing, with AJ, Gates and Heap, isn't as funny as one may think. I still don't think I'd do it, but it is tempting in a strange way.

Again, it's tough passing on our WR2 in a PPR, but the value continues to be at other positions. I liked Lee Evans, but in a 3RB option league, these backs will be gone soon.

Is it just me; or do all the teams, including ours; have multiple players with the same bye weeks? This could make setting rosters on bye weeks interesting.

Byes are never a big concern of mine. Tavaner has talked about this a lot before, the “get the byes over with and have just one bad week” theory vs. getting hurt a little less during each bye, but losing guys over the course of a string of games. Either one can be argued in my opinion… but good observation.

If Mendenhall hits like you think he will, this team looks like money. There are still a bunch of receivers out there that have potential in the 60-70 catch range, so I think your strategy was a sound one.

Yea, this draft has a strange feel to it. The need is at WR but the value just isn't there… or the value at WR is the same each time I'm up. Each WR available feels like the same guy 10 picks later. When a draft has that feel, I go best player available since I still have other positions in my line-up to fill, like when I grabbed Gates. Same thing when I grabbed Mendy as my flex instead of taking a WR that could still be available for my next pick. Mendy wouldn't have lasted much longer, he was rising on the draft tracker that we are all using and would have been gone within picks of when I took him. He is worth the grab!!

Yep, beginning of round 7 appears to be back-up RB stacking time (Chester, Bradshaw, etc, etc).

However, I'm not going to do that in this draft because we need WRs bad, but FYI. AP owners, Chester may need to be had in early 7th min. if you want to for sure lock down that combo.

Took Porter. I like his upside and he plays with a winner in Garrard. Garrard may or may not be a huge fantasy guy this year or next, not saying he won't though, but he is a winner and I think he will feed Porter the ball. I like that offense and Porter might have a big season.

I hope you don't take Heap:

2007= 6 games, 23 Rec., 239 yds., 1 TD!

2005 and 2006 played a full season, accumulated just over 1,600 yards and 13 TD's.

2004 was broke again and got himself 27 grabs for 303 yards and 3 TD's.

So, I'm able to assume that he's just not that durable and not worth the risk. Pass on him and keep stackin WR's then RB's. You've got some ground to make up now. Really liking this one team though, nice balance:

Took another FFX Community favorite in Nate Burleson. Not a top of the line WR2 and WR3, but I think both are very underrated (I know most of you feel that way about Burleson, as he is often talked about on our forums).

Not a bad squad. I will say, that 4th round played out strangely and things seemed to thin by that 4.08 pick. I'm pleased with Gates, I really am, I just wish that a better player were available there at WR so I could have went Heap late. Heap fell far and I like him a lot this year. But, given who was left at 4.08, I would go Gates again, especially since this is a PPR. I like that squad above, it feels solid.

X, yea, you're spotlight did help. Nice convincing!
