I like the RB/WR combo and the mixing up of drafting strategy’s you are using, Smitty. The RB’s are available later in drafts this year and even someone like Chester Taylor will help later in the draft…he might be easier to take if you have a couple of strong WR’s.

Not my normal plan of attack but I like the idea of having at least one league like this. I'll keep you guys posted when the players come flying off the board. I assume Chad will be gone. Not going to toy with going WR/RB with my next two picks if a top WR like Chad isn't left.

Ok, so we have:
Peyton Manning | _____ , ______ | Randy Moss, ______, _______ | _______
Player Available, we have the 3rd and 4th pick from now:
- Ronnie Brown
- Earnest Graham
- Brandon Jacobs
- Chad Johnson
Not bad, not bad considering we will prob get two of those 3RBs, or Chad and one. Not bad at all.

Smitty, your favorite rookie Mendenhall is still up there on the draft board.
Kidding aside, i think you have to go RB, RB here and your safest options would be Graham and Jacobs else you might be entering the danger zone. Or perhaps you could opt to have Willie Parker as your RB2 and thus you could go RB, CJ or RB, Witten.

I would personally go RB/WR. Take Ocho, and either Graham or Jacobs. There are a TON of good WRs left, and there will be a huge run on them now that most teams have 2 RBs. You can take 2 rooks like Forte and K.Smith in 5 and 6. One if not both should do well enough to be a RB2 for you. JMO. Then, you could go WR, TE in the following 2 rounds.

His team looks like a hot mess.
All of the elite WR's are gone, along with the elite QB's and he has Selvin, Edge, Forte and MB3.
Thats right, 4 RB's, nothing else and he doesn't even have great RB's.

I like Greg Kellogg, he is a good guy and usually a sound drafter. Not a fan of that squad either, though, as the WRs are gone like you said and the RBs on that team are not strong enough to justify not having solid WRs. Edge, Forte and Young shouldn't have been picks that sacrfied WRs that were of the likes of Chad Johnson, etc.
I wasn't thinking I was going to be happy with my strategy either, but I'm quite pleased to say the least. It will be interesting to see what I have available when my back-to-back picks come back around. I hate the 12/13 slot, not a fan of the slot at all. Sure your second player is solid, but you get crushed in the 5th and 6th. Crushed. I'm trying to trade up as we speak

Nah, he is a good guy. I don't like the team either in this particular draft, but he is good people. All these Sites are.
The trend so far in every draft I've done is, the team's with the #1 and #2 picks have HUGE (bigger than ever) advantages this year.
Tomlinson, Romo, Colston… and… AP, Turner, Fitz… Gotta love those starts.

Smitty is way too nice. Kellogg deserves to be heckled here, no matter how “solid he usually is”
He would be getting verbally bashed if this draft was done in person. The room would have turned on him like Lord of the Flies.

What can I say, I'm a people person
I just can't wait to land that 1 or 2 spot in an upcoming league. That position is gold this year.
