Okay so I am in first with a fairly clean path to the 1st round bye but I have a major issue with my defense. I have the Vikes and Chargers D and Deangelo Williams on my bench(I played him over Braylon the past two weeks at my flex though). I am concerned with the looming suspensions of the vikes stud D line. I could trade Deangelo and get Chester Taylor and either Tenn D or Phily D. Hows does everyone feel about not only these potential suspensions but the potential value of the Chargers D going forward (they finally looked good this past week). Getting Chester would handcuff AD for me and I have Rhodes handcuffing Addai already. Doing this would improve a team that is going to make the playoffs but make me bulletproof from stud rb injury and possibly improve my only weakness at Def. Please help me figuire this one out.

I think it's a very smart move to get your backups in place for the season if you already have the round 1 bye locked up. I'd use the Titans D for sure. Very familiar noticing alot of folks having the playoff berth locked have QB-Warner, so hopefully he's not going to be a dud during the playoff weeks.

The other trade I could probably get away with would be just sticking with my current Defenses and trading DWilliams and Delhomme for P.Manning. The Manning owner already has Rivers and has absolutely zero RB’s. He has Jamal Lewis and Edge. I would be giving up my safety net if AD were to get hurt but would be protected should Warner go down. I dont know why but I have a feeling that Warner is gonnna make it through a whole season for the first time since 02′ and win the MVP award. (knock on wood)

If Thigpen is on the wire, I wouldn't look to drop D.Williams. He has an easy enough schedule to compete against any QB should your starter go down. Since it's redraft, I would most likely drop Delhomme for Thigpen, as I already have in most cases.

Are there any decent defenses on the wire? DeAngelo has been really hot as of late and with Carolina struggling to throw the ball his value is very high. Given that you can start him at flex I don’t know that it makes your team better to grab a defense….but that all depends on what your defensive scoring system is in the league.
I would not do the deal for Manning, it does not help you. Warner will play most weeks anyways.
I’d explore other options first before trading Williams for a defense and back up RB.

There arent any good defenses or Qb’s on the wire. The only reason I would trade Deangelo for a D and Chester would be because I have Peterson and then if would have him handcuffed and I could get a good D out of it also. But in the same sense I dont want to improve the team that is making the playoffs. Hopefully the Vikes studs on D dont get suspended and I dont have to do anything. Both the Vikes and Chargers have cakewalk playoff schedules
