Not the most impressed with my draft this time around. I feel unsure about the bench and depth. But you never know. I was stoked with last year's draft, and injuries and unkowns made me work hard to rework it. Give me some thoughts on improvement, where my weaknesses are. I play in a PPR league.
QB Derek Anderson, Jake Delhomme
RB Brian Westbrook, Laurence Maroney, DeAngelo Williams, Matt Forte, Rashard Mendenhall
WR Reggie Wayne, Andre Johnson, Santonio Holmes, Vincent Jackson, Ronald Curry
TE Jason Witten
Def Dallas
K Phil Dawson
I was pleased that Westbrook fell to me at #4 in a PPR league, then I went with two top receivers. My biggest question would be how you guys would rank my RBs behind Westbrook, minus matchups, and if I should hold onto Jackson and/or Curry or drop them and look elsewhere on the waiver wire. I'm leery about Maroney, but he was left late. I like Williams, and I'm hoping Fox is as stubborn with Williams as he was with Foster last year, giving the vet a lot of reps. I took the two rookie RBs late. Any thoughts on who you think will break out would be appreciated.

You don't say how many you start at each position, but you have solid guys/depth at all positions except RB. Westbrook is as good as it gets in PPR, but the rest will be matchup plays. If you need a second RB/flex, Williams or Forte will fill that gap most weeks until Mendy can be counted on, which could be soon. Maroney should rarely be started over any of those guys imo. Overall your RBs are OK, just have to rotate the right guys in each week if you need one or two more in your lineup.
Keep Jackson and Curry - both are good bench players and should get you through the bye weeks. I have hopes that Jackson emerges into a solid WR3 at some point this season.

We start 2 WRs, 2 RBs and a flex, which is 99% a WR in our PPR league, at least for me. The top 3 WRs will start barring injury or bye.
Thanks for the WR advice. I was unsure taking both of them.
I'm also hoping either Anderson or Delhomme has a good year. I'm high on Jake as a Panthers fan. I think he's going to have a big year. He broke out to a huge start last year, and he seems fully healed. Running game only helps.

I like the team, but RB might be a problem, or a strength later on depending on how those backfields shake out.
I’d hold off on any moves until after the 1st week is done. Find out where everyone fits in on those teams and how they are being used on offense. You may be able to get an upgrade at RB if you sell Mendy to the FWP owner, but I’d wait on that.
I think Delhomme will have a nice bounceback year, you should be fine at QB.

i like your team, depth at RB is a little shaky, but in a PPR league, you can usually grab a low profile third down type back thats under the radar and get away with it, a couple years ago, I used Chris Perry as my sub starter, he never got any yards or TDs, but caught 5-6 balls a game, which is a big deal in a PPR….sneaky RBS this year I like in a PPR are guys like Warrick Dunn, Leon Washington…Aaron Stecker….all guys who aren’t going to put up huge yardage totals but could end up around 60 receptions or so each as third down and safety valve options….

You can be a Jake fan all you want, but for the first 2 weeks atleast you will want to start Anderson. Andersons weapons are fully loaded and ready to do work, Delhommes weapons are getting “fixed” for the first 2 weeks, and he will be stuck to shooting blanks, and not dropping bombs.
LMAO sorry my analogy just cracked me up. Honestly I like your team entirely, Deangelo williams is going to be great in your RB2 spot all year, but watch forte and mendenhall. And I am saying this because I just have a wierd suspiscion about this.
Maroney 900+/10 watch and see, patriots won't be able to pass all over the place again this year, but they can't crowd the box eith in fear of moss, and welker. Maroney is going to have a break out season, so watch him, if you see a pattern after week 3, chances are it is going to keep going that way.
