Well, I have the Bills. Had a good feeling about them from the git go but my enthusiasm for them is waning a bit. Little stuff really. They just lost their leading tackler and thier first matchup is so so (Seahawks). Schedule looks pretty decent but they are also playing dudes on my team which leads to a conflict of interest. Tough to root for your offensvie guys and cheer for your D to f'em up. So can I do better? FYI We have the Colts, Cardinals and the Eagles available. So…what do y'all think, play through my apprehension and stick with them for a while or play with the hot hand and play the match ups till I can land on a definitive keeper? For now, the Colts look like a good bet for week 1 and beyond. Plus they don't have any of my guys on thier schedule.

I think with Freeney back the Colts are your best option. I think they will be fine, also watch out for that TB defense.

Aye.
Colts. TB is available too. Certainly a pass this week against the Saints but a team definitely worth considering.

And who's got the best return game? Bills, Colts, Eagles or Cardinals?

All those teams have good return units. The Colts do well early in the season and seem to wear down after injuries…Eagles could be electric with D.Jackson…Bills have some serious speed to go with McGee…and the Cards may have as good a unit as Seattle has in years past. It’s a win/win, go with your gut. Bills are not a bad play.

Well, I just picked up Indy. Buffalo is a good D and the matchup is favorable with Hasselbeck being rusty and their recieving corps decimated but I think they might be on the conservative side perhaps limiting the amount of turnovers and sacks available. The Bears on the other hand will have to play catch up and be forced to put it in the air hopefully netting me a decent amout of sacks and hopefully some picks. I also have a feeling the Bears will be punting like a bastard (if they're not turning it over) increasing my chances for a return TD. All speculation of course but my gut agrees with my head on this one. It'll also be my last play in my matchup and I'll be able to watch it on T.V too. Bonus!
Not so sure about Indy in week 2-4 though (against Min/Jax & bye). Perhpas I'll go with a streaming D philosophy this year and see what matchups are out there for me in week 2 and beyond. Tampa looks pretty tasty for weeks 2 & 3 (Falcons & Bears)

Huh, the punter threw a touchdown today too. Awesome. If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go punch myself in the face.
