Where does Michael Turner end up in 2008? CHI? HOU? TEN?… What about DET? With Kevin Jones just having his ACL surgery, the Lions could be in some trouble at the RB position. With the coaching changes going on in DET, I wouldn't be shocked if the team got back to the ground attack and picked themselves up a nice rusher like The Burner.
Thoughts? Predictions?

I'd be very surprised if he went to Tennessee. LenDale White looks like a keeper and Chris henry is loaded with potential.

You're probably right, but it's a team being mentioned by many. I wouldn't want that, as he'd have too much competition… I think TEN wouldn't pay him enough, either.
CHI, HOU, DEN and DET could be the top teams IMO. DEN wouldn't surprise me one bit… CHI would be huge, they like to run the football. DET feels like it could be cursed. HOU would be solid.

I hope he stays away from Denver or Houston. I just think those offenses are so fickle with RBs that he could be in one week and out the next.
I could see Cleveland as a possible landing spot, they need a younger back even if they decide to bring Jamal back.
I mentioned it in another thread, but Seattle would be a logical place too, Alexander is looking more terrible as each week passes.
Another team with maybe an outside shot would be Cincy. Although they have some youth with Irons, they might part ways with Rudi and I don't see Kenny as being the long term answer. Long shot, but it may be a need

You know, the options really are starting to look very solid. I agree, Denver would be bad for the long-term. I want Turner somewhere where he can have security… DEN is not that place. Great point.
SEA and CIN are great places… Turner is our boy here at FFX, so you probably wont find one single Site higher on the guy than us. If you guys ever find a site, please show us the link ;) Don't try looking, you'll waste a whole lot of time. :)

i disagree with houston being a bad spot…kubiak running that zone blocking scheme…great young WR in johnson….qb under contract….hopefully realizing they made a mistake on ahman green and even if they dont the guy cant stay on the field….my take
choices….1A chicago….i just think they are done with benson and peterson is a great change of pace guy….with turner being the man
1B….houston…improving young team with solid playmakers and a dedication to run the football…

ive changed my mind….as a turner dynasty owner i lose sleep over this topic and came to this conclusion….i pray that jamal lewis turns greedy and wants to much money and looks elseware and turner is reunited with the browns offensive coordinator….they played together in san diego…oh please lord….cleveland would be a better spot then houston ive decided…it is now law…

Love the decision change! I don't think Houston would be bad from a player and up and coming team, I just wonder if Kubiak will employ them same philosophy that Shannahan does, that's all.

Just because Jamal fit well, that doesn't mean the team wont want to secure a future rusher now while they still can. Turner would be a monster in CLE. It is very possible. You are correct, OC Rob Chudzinski was in San Diego with the Burner. It is very possible.
Oh, And I don't sleep at all because of this, I don't just lose sleep :-P

We own Turner in both Expert Dynasty Leagues… we can't wait as well.
You will see Turner in our top 12 if traded to clearly start.. no other Site will likely him that high. Remember that.

Since I'm gonna stake my FF life on you guys in 2008, I watched Turner very closely Sunday. Looks to be strong and fast. I thought he looked very ready to be "the guy" somewhere else next season, and young Sproles with all that speed looks to be a possible sleeper. I'm not real sure about how good the Colt rush defense is. They've caught a lot of flack in the recent seasons. Even so, if nobody else in my money league uses your site, I hope to have the "burner" on my squad. If they do, hope I pick earlier than them. I've drawn 2nd and 3rd pick in first two seasons. At your simulator, I've tried the 6th spot on a couple of run-throughs and it's come up Brady. Should he be taken that high?

How can you argue he can't go that high? How can you argue it isn't smart to pass and grab a back? You can't. Both paths can lead to fantasy victory, it just matters what your strengths are. If you land sleepers, passing on RBs in the first two rounds isn't the worst idea. If you tend to draft winning teams and don't do a whole lot via free agency and you aren't a sleeper stud-drafter, well, I wouldn't take that QB in the first. I love landing WR3s LATE, if not through free agency, and I love stockpiling rushers in the middle rounds. That affords me the ability to make risky first and second-round moves, but this year I think I'd pass on Brady if he falls to me.
I'm not saying he won't throw for 40+ TDs next year, but these type of seasons rarely get duplicated and those RBs in the first round this year seem a bit more sure than last year's.

No worries at all, he was joking. While I do like keeping the threads organized so things are easy to find, the hammer isn't going to come down on anyone adding quality content and topics to the Site. Keep it up, Tgilliam!

No one likes Turner more than us, especially me.
In one of our Dynasty Expert Leagues, I traded Reggie Bush for Michael Turner and Roy Williams last year before the 2007 NFL Draft. I took some heat for it from a few people when the Tennessee trade didn't end up going down in April of '07, but I will absolutely have the last laugh in the coming months :) …. so JoeMan, you are not alone my friend… waiting on him, or spending 8 months trying to trade for him… it will all be worth it!
