I have said before on this site that Roy Williams is an enigma wrapped up in a conundrum
Check this out from Rotoworld:
A Tale of Two Receivers – 11/04/2009 BY Chris Wesseling
Hall of Fame receiver and Cowboys talking head Michael Irvin said Tuesday that his efforts to help Roy Williams prior to the start of the season went unheeded. Irvin preached to both Williams and Miles Austin the importance of anticipating snap count in order to explode off the line of scrimmage. According to Irvin, Austin was receptive to the advice while Williams blew him off. After watching side-by-side video of the two receivers this season, Irvin noted that Austin is getting off the line much quicker than Williams.
While Williams' disappointing post-trade production last season was explained away by plantar fasciitis, the presence of Terrell Owens, and an unfamiliarity with Tony Romo, he's shown no signs of improvement in the full year he's been in Dallas. Austin, on the other hand, is coming like a freight train……
The article goes on to praise Miles Austin… but, we already knew that he was going to be a stud
Williams is a complete waste of space

Interesting article. Williams should just go to the raiders and hang out with J. Walker. Oakland is where all washed up receivers with one good season go to collect more money than they are worth.

its time to sit Williams and give Sam Hurd a chance. Williams can't separate.

Williams today complained about how he is getting balls passed to him that aren't even near him, and how Romo places it inbetween the numbers to Austin, also he said how he isn't getting the ball more often

Witten still leads the team in targets – he just isn't breaking any or finding the endzone. I gotta think that Austin should start pulling some double teams, but opposing defenses are still throwing their safety at Witten rather than Austin. The would rather lose than NOT double up Witten.

Maybe all of T.Romo's passes are off target, and M.Austin is the only guy fast enough to catch up to the errant throw.

I actually picked this bum up in my 14 team PPR league lastnight. He can ROT on my bench and maybe he turns things around.
