My waiver wire period is coming up Thursday and I need to pick up a QB for Week 8 (Romo’s bye week).
Who do you suggest between,
David Carr vs. Indianapolis
Cleo Lemon vs. Giants or
Alex Smith vs. Saints
These are really the only starting QBs available. Each QB has a home game that week, but each are facing decent defenses. Suggestion?

I liked Lemon until Chambers got traded. If Alex Smith is a go, I’d consider starting him for one week.

I agree with Smitty with the Smith call, the problem with these options is that all 3 may not be starting week 8. Smith/Carr could still be hurt and Lemon could be a casualty to the Miami youth movement and Beck could be starting week 8.
