How about Fantasy Football Extreme Dynasty Leagues? They could be hosted on some other sites with the rosters, drafts, trades, and by-laws posted in a separate forum here. They could serve as a resource for people as they get into dynasty league play. It would build quite a core group.

You mean like league MGNT type of Site? Or just info and a dedicated section to dynasty?

I’m only familiar with free sites. For example, game scoring, trades, and in season free agent pickups could be on ESPN (just an example), but the guts of the league could be duplicated here. We could see the by-laws, updated rosters, trades, upcoming draft picks, stuff like that.
This would all be done by the guys in the league. FFX would host the forum giving the history of the league.
Hope this is clearer.

Not a bad idea, so you mean you would have a frame that had your league’s homepage in it so you don’t have to leave this Site? And have something like a forum for just that league, but with public access?
If that is what you mean, or even diff versions of that, not bad ideas and I’ll pass them along to Aaron, the brains behind the production. Ideas like this are great, keep them coming and I’ll see what we can come up with on this one.

We could do it by frame, but that might get dicey with the code.
The forum might be called the Extreme Dynasty League.
Each subject (within the forum) would have to do with the League; draft order, roster, draft results, approved trades, with each gm responsible for keeping their rosters up to date within the forum.
Public access forum, only members of the league could post within the forum.
The league members come from site members.
It’s a thought.

I think that is a great idea Tavaner!!!! But we should create a novice league for newcomers, a middle league for your every day visitors and finally for the more advanced FOOTBALL NAZIS LIKE MYSELF… A professional league hand picked by Smitty & Aaron with themselves included. I have always wanted to compete against well known players. Maybe we have a sort of competition to prove ourselves worthy of the professional league.

Hopefully at some point this year, we can set up a user vs. staff type of thing.. at the very least, we will have you regular forum users face off against each other and we can have a forum topic dedicated for the convo about that league. We will be working on things to get all of you involved, like guest writer contests, etc.

I think that would be great; start a league between the staff and some select members of this forum. It could be a good keeper league that we keep going for years to come. You could have the results posted on the site for everybody to see, that way if you are doing well you can really live it up and if you are doing poorly, you will hear it from people on the site.
