Perfect timing. I was just going to start a chat about your latest poll below. Don't take any of this the wrong way.

Of the other Fantasy Info Sites that you pay to use, what are you paying per year?

My question for you guys is your next “one major hurdle” going to be to figure out how your members are gonna feel when you start sticking them with the money needle as gently (or forcefully ) as possible. You want us to be honest about how much we spend on other sites when you already know the answer. The majority if not all of your members that take part in your forums are in some type of Fantasy league. We all know they're not cheap and yes we pay other sites well above answer D of your poll. I hope your not trying to justify a fee by making us realize how much we are paying for these other sites. The fees are irrelevant do to the fact that these “other sites” are hosting and keeping a history of league stats a mile long. I do admit that this is absolutely the best site on the net so I guess your right, inevitably somewhere down the line your gonna have to start charging at some point. I could be wrong in feeling this way, believe it or not, it's happened before (j/k) but I think the poll can be thrown out the window. Word to FFX, host my leagues my denaro is yours and you better believe it's much more then $24. If you build it, they will come. As we already have.

PAFAS.. we use to charge… we went free for this one season. We charged before this season, so nothing is changed. We thought it would be nice for everyone, plus help us grow, to go free for a year. There will definitely be enough free stuff (forums, news) to keep you on here every day even if you don't pay, but we're confident that the content is worth the price, whatever it ends up being. And the question wasn't what do you charge for league MGNT sites, the question “fantasy info sites”… there are tons of them, someones fantasy owners spend 20 bucks a pop on 3 info sites. Not league MGNT.

Yeah, I figured that just thought I would ask about the leagues. It would be a later down the road thing. I didn’t know the amount of money it would take to start that up. After I posted thought about the amount of resources you would need and might be to premature at this stage. I like the improvements though.

A lot has changed. In the time that I've become a free member you have at least doubled in size, given the site a whole new full face lift and incorporated many different ways for us to consistently get endless amounts of helpful information (all the while still staying true to your ways). You know what, your ABSOLUTELY right, FFX should get compensated for all the work that you do for us. But I'm sorry, I just don't like the way the poll was presented to us. I felt as though it was a bad attempt at a preemptive strike. Bla, bla, bla…..You've got some great fans behind you here at FFX and we the crazy posting crew (you know who u r) will be willing to pay whatever price it may be when it comes back.  

The poll was not designed to be a preemptive strike. Not the intention at all.

This is a business for us, but that doesn't mean that we won't provide a first class product. In fact, being that people are paying roughly 20 bucks a year, that obligates us to improve the product every single day. We also have the staff on this site all day long due to the fact that this is a business. What other Site already has Week 1 player projections up for almost every single player? Or 2008 full season player projections? I mean, we take this thing seriously and this is no hobby for us.. .this is what we do.

For those that don't want to pay, we still want you here and that is fine. Our news and forums alone will be reason enough to swing by each and every day. We're confident that many will see the one-time yearly fee as well worth the constant 17 weeks of hardcore fantasy content.
