We start 1 linebacker per week. Roster max is 3.

Scoring: 2 per tackle, 1 per assist, and 5 for a sack. Point for a forcfed fumble and recovery. 6 for a TD and 2 for a safety.

My weekly starter is Patrick Willis.

My reserves are D'Qwell Jackson, James Laurinaitis, and David Harris.

How would you rank my reserves for the future (2-3 years form now)?

Can protect one and possibly two.

I'd go with Willis and Laurinaitis.

Harris is in a 3/4, Laurinaitis is a MLB, D'Q is coming off an injury.

I'm not entirely sure I agree on this one.   Laurinaitis is far below Harris and DQJ in total tackles despite similar tackle opportunity.  He had a great game 1, but has really been somewhat average since then.  He is a LB1/2 at best, to be honest.  I have never really been a big believer in him.

David Harris is a curious sort.  He was beastmode the last half of 2007, kinda sucked in 2008 but was injured, and this season, he's playing like gangbusters once again.  He's 25 and he is behind a very solid defensive line who can keep OL off of him and clear the path. The speculation about who would be the playmaker in Rex Ryan's new defense has been answered.

I wasn't really a big believer in DQJax after last season.  I thought it was a bit of "smoke and mirrors" due to the boosted assist total he had, but he really seems to have come into his own.  I don't see his injury this year affecting him next year.

I think all are solid options, all have definite drawbacks, and I think you really can't go wrong with any of them.  My gut tells me DQJ, Harris, and Laurainitis, in that order, so you need to follow your gut, cuz maybe your gut is smarter than mine. :)
