Tav – what is going on with these two, one-time highly ranked linebackers? First Johnson loses his starting position, now Sims is rumored to be in danger of the same. I thought these guys were playmakers on defense?

I was gone the week-end you asked this. If I don't respond to an idp question, pm me.

Johnson is a victim of the scheme and coaching change in KC. The HC there is trying to instill a winning mentality and sets his depth charts based on practice performance. Just last week Johnson got the start but did nothing. I was suprised he did nothing with it.

Sims had a shoulder injury suffered in week 2 and D.Levy took advantage of the opportunity. The NFL is a highly competitive “what have you done for me today” league.
