I'm in a startup Dynasty,IDP,PPR draft where the offensive scoring seems standard, but IDP is 2 points per tackle, and one per assist. I usually wait until late in a draft to start drafting defensive players, but could this backfire on me?

Starting Positions – QB, RB, RB, WR,WR,slot(RB,WR),TE,K

Defense – LB,LB,DL,DL,DB,DB, slot(LB,DL,DB)

Yeah, you want to start getting LB studes around the 5th-6th area.  They generate a ton of points for you.  Once all the offensive talent gets mediocre, switch to defense and get the studs while you can.

at 2 points/tackle, you'll want to start nabbing the MLB studs early, as Gambler said

you have the potential to start 3 guys that are nearly guaranteed to score you 200 points in your system if you draft properly (3x LBs who break 90-20), so be the one to start the LB run instead of finishing it.
