What did you guys think of this pick? Obviously we don't know as much about things as these GMs and stuff….so the Ravens must have had some indication someone was going to grab Flacco before the 26th pick…or at least trade back in.
Tough to knock the Ravens draft stratgey though, theyve done such a good job in the past I guess you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Mayock seems to think he's the real deal, that's all I need to hear… LOL. Honestly, I don't think anyone will really no about him until he plays for a few years, but seemed a good pick to me - they certainly need a QB.

They had no choice. They couldn't afford to miss out on him….they are desperate for a QB. They better hope he is the real deal !

Personally I’m not a Flacco fan and was kind of puzzeled by this one but who knows maybe he will be great. That is why I dont get paid the big bucks to scout players for NFL teams.

Flacco just flew up the fantasy draft boards. You don’t grab a QB in the first without getting him in the games at some point that year…and this is the new HC’s guy…any QB not named Flacco in Bal is on a short leash…same is true in Miami and GB.
