I pick 10 and 13 in my rook draft. Who do you all think will be available?

You are probably lookng at one of the WRs or QBs or a backup RB. I know in my league, the top 7-9 picks will be RBs with a few WRs sprinkled in.

Smitty and Ballgame will be all over this…for me…LOL…could take a week!
The value of the pics don’t change so much as the players…Dirtdogs take is solid…QB/WR/or a flyer on an RB.

X, do they move Bush now?
Don't know how they can. I think they'd like to, but lots of risk for the taker so little trade value right now. I don't think his contract is very heavy, so they are probably satisfied for the moment to keep him on the roster. I think Jordan will be cut to save cap room and I could see Rhodes cut at some point in spite of his low cap number. Should be interesting to see how this shakes out!

Just saw Dallas took Choice. I see this as insurance in case they have problem resigning Barber. I think Choice is very talented though. I too had him my top 10 Tav.

Bush signed a a 4 year deal for 2.165 million. I’d say they keep him for no more than what it is costing them. I would also say that Jordan and Rhodes, after today, become expendable.

There will be some talent cut lose which makes these selections even more intruiging.

We have all discussed the RBs who lost value from this draft, but about the opposite side.
RBs who saw increased value since their team did not take a high picked RB:
- Ernest Graham
- Rudi Johnson
- Chris Brown/Chris Taylor
- Thomas Jones
- Edgerrin James
- Julius Jones/TJ Duckett
- Maroney/ Sammy Morris
Anyone else?
Although Shaun Alexander is still lurking out there…

I think you can add Travis Henry to this list.

The Lions took another WR! Of course it was round 5…

Travis Henry, Selvin Young, Andre Hall, and now Ryan Torian? What a RB mess in DEN. Shannahan may rotate them all in!

That pick = Torain will start a few games at the very least. Torain is a good back and he is going to shine if healthy. Shanny loves to use his rookies and I think Torain will be the clear starter at some point… what point, who knows!
What about Kevin Smith in DET and Steve Slaton in HOU… lets talk about that!

Call me a Slaton doubter, but I don' think he'll be more than a 3rd Down back on HOU this season and maybe a KR/PR. I really buy into the fact that HOU loves Chris Taylor and I could see a Ryan Grant-Outta -Nowhere-Season. Chris Brown could also surprise in he HOU running system.
Kevin Smith is now my #5 Rookie RB behind Matt Forte. One of my knocks on him is that he got alot of carries in college and has also of mileage for a rookie. But really only has Bell to beat out and could be th starter in week 1.

wow
I had Choice top 6 or 7.
I had Mendy, DMac/Stewie, Forte, Choice, Felix, and Chris Johnson up there. I’m pretty happy with where everyone landed except for Choice, although that could light a fire under MBIII’s hindquarters regarding their resigning him.
I’ll refrain on my official ‘redraft’ opinions regarding these guys until after we’re done with our FF drafts, but I am still in a state of shock about PGH selecting Mendy, Sweed and….a QB?
some picks were extremely weird
tough to say that KC and Miami didn’t “win” this draft from the looks of things. I agree with the above regarding TJ, Graham and Edge’s value, although Hightower might get in on some action. I think Slaton does as well.
Someone explain to me why Seattle didn’t pick a single WR?
