What about Kevin Smith in DET and Steve Slaton in HOU… lets talk about that!

Smith in Detroit is a boom/bust pick, imo. He may go under the radar of a lot of fantasy owners but T.Bell should not get too comfortable. Smith will get his shot during the season and he’ll either take over or fade quickly from fantasy consideration. He’s not really a 3rd down back, there just isn’t much middle ground, imo.

Slaton in Houston, or DenverTexasStyle is a total toss up for me at the moment. I dont’ want a Houston RB not named Dayne ;) and I won’t be touching this guy.

Someone explain to me why Seattle didn’t pick a single WR?

A passing offense (now) not taking a WR when a starter is injured for half a year and another left via free agency = these guys suck, we aren’t going to touch them and we aren’t trading up or back, to get one.

I updated my article through Kevin Smith, Torain and Slaton!

I never imaged pick 1.04 having a choice of 2 pontential starting rookie RBs. I still lean toward Matt Forte but Kevin Smith is making it pretty interesting. Maybe I'll get a crazy offer for the pick…

Happy to see Colt (finally) go off the board to the Redskins. Interesting debate by the analysts. Brennan's a player that you either love or hate.

Seaney, it's a great spot too! Santana, Devin Thomas… I do not believe in Campbell, if he even stays healthy to prove me right. I love Brennan, as do you.

Great article Smitty! It'll be interesting to see what people do at 1.4! Both rooks have a huge opportunity to beat out some Jabroni RB's for the top spot on the depth chart!

What I like is that its a new regime in Washington. Campbell isn't one of Zorn's “guys”. This should help Colt get an opportunity. I'm hoping he will get a chance in the next year or two. Kids a winner!
