I hear a lot of people now talking about Adrian Peterson falling all the way to AZ with the 5 pick. Thoughts?

Adrian Peterson in AZ would hurt his value a ton, but honestly I don’t see this happening. I believe, if Peterson should fall past cleveland at the 3 spot, he will likely land in Minnesota (#7) or Atlanta (#8). It is possible, though, as Cards head coach Ken Whisenhunt loves to to run the football, but I just don’t see it happening with Edge on the roster.

Atlanta would be IDEAL for Peterson, as Petrino wants a 20+ carry back. And let me tell you, AP is that guy. In ATL, the Peterson would be an instant top 12RB in 2007 and a top 5 overall pick in 2008 in all leagues and formats.

Peterson could fall to #8 but I can’t see him getting by pick #4.

Cleveland has Jamal Lewis for a year, they would be better off with Joe Thomas, but I don’t think the front office (especially Crenel) has the luxury of that kind (QB as well) of pick .

In Tampa, Gruden has eyes for Calvin Johnson but (without a trade)he’d be hard pressed to pass on AP as I feel he’s an offensive oriented coach. AP and Cadillac in the same backfield would cause quite a bit of trouble in the NFC South.

AZ, given their new coach, is more likely to go the off-line route.

Love the thought of AP in Atlanta.

Luckily, we don’t have to wait much longer to see how it all plays out.

Peterson would make a giant impact right out of the gate if in ATL. GIANT! Cleveland isn’t half bad for him, AZ would be a huge hit to his 2007 value.

The draft is near, can’t wait!
