and I missed Derrick Williams.

There could be some big sleepers in that group. Barden at 6'6' is like Calvin Johnson size. Wallace has like 4.3 speed. What a draft this is. Barden drafting could have just shot H. Nicks value down a couple spots. That was quick for him.

Do you think J.Addai still has good value as my RB3?

=======================================================================

I don't believe Brown was drafted to share the load.  I don't think he even has what it takes to push the pile, so my instincts tell me Indy was thinking more of a durability issue.  Addai should be fine.

I just have a hard time believing that you go for “durability” insurance in the 1st round…definite RBBC (but some RBs in RBBC produce numbers just fine…will Addai though?)

THe jury is out for me on this. Because I have been preparing for 1.4 pick in rookie draft starting noon tomorrow. And I watched all the tapes I can find on the internet on him. And I think he has incredible vision, and is under rated as far as power and blocking ability. From things I have read, he is a very hard worker, dedicated guy smash you in the mouth guy when neccessary. It is going to be a tough call as to how it plays out, it is way top early to tell. Addai could end up becoming the 3rd down back, and that would really hurt his value.

I dunno bout Barden…He has a 33" vert. which isnt all that great for his size.

I think the key for Brown getting on the field more is to learn pass protection and blitz packages. For all his durability issues, Addai is very good in the passing game as Indy can pass on any down. You know the first time any RB misses an assignment and gets Peyton crushed, they are gonna hear about it. My prediction for 2009 is around a 65/35 split with Addai as the starter. Alot will change however come training camp and Brown learns the pro game.

I dont see the Colts spending a 1st on an insurance policy.  If Addai continues his trend of poor production and injuries, Brown could easily become the #1 in Indy.  I think Addai has 2 years left on his deal and could be gone sooner if Brown shines.

The rich get richer. The Pats now have the 2010 2nd Rounders for BOTH Jax and TEN.

Belichick is an evil genius! Do I smell Peppers coming to the East Coast…hmm

I unfortuantely agree. Indy must really see something they like in Brown to take him over Wells.

QB: Romo, Cassel RB: DWiLL , Stewy, Addai, Fargas WR: VJAX, Bowe, Avery, Knox TE: Cooley, Olsen PK: Folk Def: New Orleans, Washington

D.Williams (DET) source says he ran a 4.31?  Is this correct?

Some big picks coming up, I really don't want to start drinking after yesterday. So please Browns, Pick a RB. Jennings would be good.

While I agree, that is not a very impressive number. When you are 6'6' 230 pounds. How high do you have to jump?

I'm surprised CLE didn't pick up one of the big backs available…

Bad Cleveland. I do not like this at all. Really wish I knew more about Defensive players OTB. Because I know New Orleans only has 3 more picks, and have needs on D. But I have no idea, about the D players. THings could not have shaped up any better for them as far as getting a RB. Only the top 5 gone and Coffee. This is so not good.

Come on Miami , You can do it.

I think they wanted a return guy. That's really what Goodson is.

No RBs for the Saints! (Disclaimer: Unless they trade up in the next few rounds)

PT owners who sweated through the draft, crack open a coldone and rejoice!
