Yea, they always emerge. Wells and Slaton will be the top two at first, but a few will get mixed in there. Wells will likely be the best prospect coming out next year, but man that could change quick.

Does anyone have McFadden #2? Who has Kevin Smith ahead of Jonathan Stewart? I’m curious to see some top 5 or top 10 rankings by you guys.

The article at ESPN says that Slaton is expected to be a 2nd round pick. With the plethora of RBs (both Seniors and declaring Juniors) available in this draft, I don’t see Slaton as a 2nd round pick at all…certainly not at 5′-10″ and 198lbs. Here’s how my top 5 go (for today…)
1. McFadden - ARK
2. Stewart - ORE
3. K. Smith - UCF
4. C. Johnson - EC
5. F. Jones - ARK
I think Rice, Mendenhall, Hart, or Charles could make it into #4 or #5 depending on their combine efforts.

Here’s how I think they will be drafted, not necessarily where I think they should be drafted.
1st Rd
1) McFadden
2) Stewart
3) Mendenhall
2nd Rd
1) F Jones
2) Rice
3) K Smith
3rd Rd
1) Slaton
2) Hart
3) C Johnson
4th rd
1) Charles
That’s just my guess as to where teams will be willing to pick them. I think Jones has a chance to bump up to the late 1st and Mendenhall has a chance to slip to the 2nd.

I have a feeling you’re right about the top 3, but a great pro day by Kevin Smith could change all that.
