I think im going to take Moreno over any other back in this class. He should have a Steve Slaton type of season and have a great career. The only thing im worried about, is he going to be a bust like Caddy?

I think Moreno is very overrated at the moment. He can do highlight acrobatics but hes not big or fast or anything that will really help distinguish him on the next level. Just don't see much in him personally.

Yep, like I keep saying, he gains 10 pounds he starts looking like DeAngelo in some ways. I like Moreno more and more each day.

Moreno always runs hard and can slip through the tackes for big plays.

I've seen Stafford under-rated becasue of his inconsistent play with great talent. Can the same be said for Moreno, not super quick or strong but he was on a great team. If thats true and Stafford and Moreno are overrated maybe they were'nt on such a good team.

I'm a little suspect on this guy. Maybe it is because I can't get a decent video of his highlights. All the ones I've seen are to close of shots. I want to see more of the field in the tape like in the videos of Wells and McCoy. All I see is Moreno making it to the outside and second level untouched, then he does some flashy moves. I'm not saying he aint the guy everyone says he is…I'm just saying the footage at youtube isnt showing it. All I see is textbook blocking.

Moreno weighs in at 217!!!!!
- RB Knowshon Moreno 02-20 6:46 pm by Smitty
We have taken a lot of heat so far this off-season because of our extremely high ranking of incoming rookie running back Knowshon Moreno. Our staff average rankings have the back ranked No. 8 overall on our 2009 Dynasty Rankings. Yea, I said overall! Bold? Yea, well that's how we roll! Our only concern with Moreno has been his college playing weight of 207 pounds – Well, Moreno clearly hit the weights this off-season, as the stud weighed in at 217 pounds today at the combine. At 5-11, 217 pounds, Moreno has an ideal NFL RB frame. In 2008, the Georgia running back produced three 3TD-performances, rushed for over 100 yards seven times and scored in every single regular season game but two. With the added weight, Moreno is now inside my personal top 5-10 overall in dynasty formats. Crazy? I've been called worse. This kid is for real!

Still think he is in the top 5-10 in dynasty formats after his 40 time?

Absolutely.
Terrell Davis – 4.7
Frank Gore 4.65
Moreno put on some serious weight and he looks mean and cut. He is fast enough and he is RB quick. Of course I'd rather him run it faster, but it doesn't mean much to me if he can't run a 4.50 even.
He is the real deal and the next Frank Gore IMO. Could I be wrong? You bet! :) If I was always right I'd be in Vegas more! But I do feel very confident that if healthy, and I can't predict injuries (again I'd be in Vegas if I could), Moreno is the real deal.

the 40 times bother me with this years class…………….
i'm leaning towards wells at the moment because of his size, his 40 time about the same he ran a 4.59
and moreno ran a 4.6 and is not as big as wells, that bothers me……… but maybe he can run faster than most
in football gear you just do not know? …………. i'll probably draft moreno first if he's there because smitty is smitten with him.

Looks like Moreno could be your average RB afterall. If he sees less than 200 carries, I doubt he finishes in the top of the rookie RB class.
