Interesting.
Very interesting.
Mendy and Sweed were my top picks for the rookie RBs and WRs.
I noticed a lot of peeps are thinking that only DMac’s draft status stayed the same, but I think Forte and the big 3 definitely landed in solid places
I also think Turner’s draft value jumped up pretty nicely today.
gonna be an interesting year….
on a side note, Malcolm Kelly is going to be the biggest pain in the ass going.

I definitely agree with you on Turner. Stewart is up there, all these backs in the top 3 are stud-like guys, but I have McFadden as my #1 for 2008 and Mendy is at least even with McFadden in my book as the number one dynasty guy of the three. Stewart is up there, do not get me wrong, but if I have to pick, there you go.
Kethnaab called the Dallas/Felix thing, but as I said before, I never doubted Jones would do that, but I think it was a mistake for Dallas to grab Jones instead of Mendy. It could go down as one of the biggest “oops” moves of this draft. Mendy is that good.
He will do well in PIT for the long-term. If you're made over that (anyone, not directing that to Kethnaab) than you aren't looking at the long-term picture. FWP isn't built to last long in this league. This is Mendy's team and I PREDICT that this situation will be much like the AP/Minnesota situation last year…. remember how many were down on that landing spot? PIT is actually decent-to-great for 2008 and absolutely fantastic for the future!!!!

i gotta agree with you
the fools who let Mendy drop that low….WTF?
I NEVER considered Mendy would get past Detroit/Chicago in the 1st round. Never.
As for Mendy landing in PGH, I’m kinda at a loss for the PGH team.
We NEED DL and OL, we don’t really need WR and RB.
However, how the hell can you pass up that kind of value at that pick? It’s nuts to pass on a guy like Mendy that late in the draft.
Simply nuts.

I don’t think it’s a knock on Mendy as much as it’s a sign of just how deep and how close these RB’s are.

Yeah, the Steelers knocked it out of the park yesterday. Parker owners have got to be sick right now.

Just like Chester owners last year. I owned Chester in two leagues last year glad to see it happening to someone else now as I dont own FWP in any leagues. Heh.
