The Raiders pull off a multiple team deal with the Falcons for CJ and the Packers for Moss And in return The Raiders end up with Jamarcus Russell by moving down. and a lot more picks

I think they ship Moss off to Green Bay, draft Johnson and then take a QB with their second rounder. THEN, when the Chiefs finally move Trent Green, they will sign Culpepper to keep the QB seat warm until junior is ready.

Even trading off Moss, I can’t imagine that they pass up on a top QB again this year. After seeing how well Young, Leinart, and Cutler have done in their first season, they would be crazy to pass up on Russell (or Quinn). I think that they will draft another reciever later in the draft to make up for losing Moss.

That’s the toughest part for the Raiders. Do they feel bound to take a QB since they’ve passed on so many lately that they have to reach for one?

The Quinn/Russell reminds a lot of the Manning/Leaf debate.

4 year starter (Quinn) vs a late surging no name (Russell).

What you see is what you get (Quinn) vs Potential (Russell).

Couldn’t win the big one (Quinn) vs the one big game hero (Russell)

Considered more NFL ready (Quinn) vs Potential (there’s that word again!!)

?????

However, I think Manning was better than Quinn is at this point and Russell has some personality/attitude concerns (although they very well could be unfounded).

I think it is very safe to say Russell goes #1. Johnson would have to go #2, no matter who owns the pick.

Past that, wow, I think Quinn has a strong chance to land in CLE and AZ will pray that they get Joe Thomas at the #5.

Where it will get interesting is that 7-20 range. It could get nuts.

Can’t wait.
