What are everyone’s thoughts on the initial rumors that Tampa may be interested in Chester Taylor?
It could be shot down as a rumor as early as today, but it is fun to think about for AP owners and Chester owners (most likely the same owner).

Just read this on profootballtalk.com
Regarding talk the Bucs and the Vikings have had discussions about running back Chester Taylor and Bryant McKinnie, a league source tells us that there is no truth to those rumors.

For sure. I own AP in two leagues and in one of them I have both Taylor and AP. I would love it. To get another starting RB on another team would be great.
I can’t see the Vikes doing it unless they get a really good offer for Taylor. I don’t think they want to run Peterson into the ground in his rookie season, plus he is not great at pass pro yet.

All of it could be rumor, but now there is some Mewelde Moore talk to Tampa. That’s not going to help AP much, as they don’t use Moore. We’ll keep you posted.

I got Taylor in one league I am desperate for RB help, and Peterson in the other 3. As much as I want this to happen, I doubt it does. Trades like this just don’t happen in the NFL during the season. I got my fingers crossed though.
I think we are closing in on the period of the season where Smitty gets to tell everybody he was right with the Michael Turner hype. With SD 1-3 and him a free agent next year I could see them trading Turner.

Sean Jensen of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the Bucs contacted the Vikings regarding RB Mewelde Moore.
The Bucs are in need of healthy backs following the season-ending injury to Cadillac Williams and a previous report had them asking about Chester Taylor. Moore had zero touches in Week 4 and will see scant playing time behind a healthy Adrian Peterson and Taylor. While unlikely to occur, Moore would have fantasy value if traded.
