According to the NFL Network's Adam Schefter, free-agent running back Chris Brown could be headed to Chicago.
Impact: He'd help fill the void of Thomas Jones and take some carries away from Cedric Benson if he does sign with the Bears.

Except Chris Brown can't stay healthy. Sounds like an insurance policy for Benson, I don't see him taking carries away unless Benson stumbles out of the gate. His presence also drops Wolfe's value down a bit this season, but I still like him long term.

I find it hard to imagine that the Bears would go after Chris Brown to be honest. They signed Wolfe and I doubt they give Adrian Peterson the boot, but Schefter is pretty on the money, so we shall see.

Could be a good thing if you ask me. Benson is solid and I like him a lot this year but this is a security move if it goes down. A smart one too. I do agree with Smitty. It seems like they wouldn't push their other RBs to the curb though. I think they are high on both back ups.
