I read a little rumor today that has some interesting evidence behind it. That Cowher was at PSU on the 24th and 25th of Feb. and stayed overnight at the AD place of residence.No big deal right, Well i guess today the 2+ million dollar home that he has in Carolina has gone on the market.Could this merely be coincidence or is something brewing in Happy Valley. I think it makes for an interesting rumor but i take it with a grain of salt.It has been mentioned that he was there on behalf of one of his daughters who could have been visiting the campus as a prospective student and he stayed at the AD’s house while his daughter spent the night at the dorms. Why? because he’s Bill Cowher. I don’t think he would coach college ball just due to the fact he has coached at the highest level and was relatively successful at that level.When there are teams out there like say the Skins that would give him in the realm of ten million per and control over personnel,which from what i understand is a deal breaker when it comes to trying to work a contract.But just imagine the type boost you would get from him from the recruiting standpoint.As big of a gig that the PSU job would be i just don’t think that Cowher would A:drop down to the college level after the success he has had at the pro level. And B:Colleges can’t compete with the money that NFL teams can offer. But that just my opinion.
