Word is that Rudi did not practice again today due to his hamstring issues. And rumor has it that the Bengals may be rolling with Watson as their primary carrier for the 2nd half of the season.
Maybe the carries over the past few seasons have caught up to him.
Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Yea, things aren’t looking good for Rudi, but things are looking really good for Watson owners, as Watson is all upside and cost very little.

hope it is true. I have watson on one of my squads.
But I wonder how this will play out in the long term. Is watson a long term solution? Will Kenny Irons be a factor next season?

Irons? Probably not.
Injured Bengals never heal!

Tough to say, as Watson doesn’t feel like a long-term fantasy machine… but you never know. Many doubted Rudi when he came into the role. I’d guess, if he heals quickly, Irons makes a push for some carries, but Cincy seems like a RBBC situation for next year if forced to guess at this point.
Rudi might respond and much of this Watson taking over stuff is speculation. We shall see. You know how coaches are, they don’t want to commit to the new (cough, Petrino with Norwood).
