Laurence Maroney (questionable, groin) was in uniform and seen running during early warmups Sunday.
Maroney took a lap around the field and ran some sprints. The Providence Journal believes it’s a good sign for his chances of playing. Multiple reports have said Maroney will be out for the game, but that’s not set in stone.

Laurence Maroney is among the Patriots inactive players Sunday.
Sammy Morris will start for the Patriots. Maroney warmed up before the game, but perhaps couldn’t cut well. Other New England inactives: S Mel Mitchell, S Rashad Baker, OL Wesley Britt, OL Billy Yates, DL Santonio Thomas, and DL Kareem Brown. Donte’ Stallworth

The Associated Press writes that Laurence Maroney is likely to return in Week 7 against the Dolphins.
Maroney reportedly ran well in a limited practice Wednesday. In one version of an AP article linked below, the writer says Maroney will not play this week. It appears to be an editing error, though, because other versions of the article say Maroney is likely to play. The local Boston papers also believe Maroney will return.
