Former player personal director Mr. Koonce says" That a big name player will be coming to the Packers shortly." Who could he be talking about? Speculation from Profootballtalk.com says, "they think its either L.J. being secretly shopped by the Chiefs or it is for the injured QB Daunte Culpepper who could take over fas the Starter for the Packers in 08'. Me personally I hope this is a hint that L.J. is going to be traded and given his monster contract in Green Bay.

Culpepper I could see happening. LJ is a stretch but I'll root for it! :)
Hey maybe both…Cpep should be almost free by now!

LJ would be pretty nice, but I doubt that happens given how the Pack spend. LJ would make the Pack an instant contender and the move would please Favre like no other.
Culpepper is my guess.

Yea I have to agree its looking more and more like Culpepper. But thats not bad either. I just saw a report that Micheal Smith from ESPN is reporting on that It could possibly be Correy Dillon….BOOOOOOOOOOOO this man he needs to retire….I don't believe anything Micheal Smith says any way. Besides he's not a real sports anayst any way he won a contest to be on ESPN>

Not sure about Dillon, but that wouldn't shock me. I still think it is Cpep, but we shall find out soon enough.

I think Dillon makes more sense at this point. The packers are going into the season with Morency and Jackson as their two RBs. To have Jackson learning the ropes behind Dillon would only make sense IMO. Quite honestly if this is the case, I don't think it's a bad move on their part. I think they'll end up getting Dillon at a reasonable price tag too, as it doesn't appear that too many other teams have been banging on his door.

That would hurt Jackson a bit . .

If Dillon is going to land anywhere, it is in Green Bay. Not many teams need a back right now.

Hmmm…I kinda like Dillon in Green Bay. He could put up decent stats if he got the chance!

why do you guys like Dillon so much he's a used up 33 year old runningback with most of his miles behind him. He was cut by New England because of foot problems. Green bay does not need another washed up player. Pro LJ !!!!!!!! Bring him in Ted Thompson and win the Division!!!!

I'd love to see LJ in GB! Favre deserves him, and vice versa! Don't think GB would pay him what he wants, but it's a nice dream… :)

Johnson wouldn't drop in my rankings at all if he landed in Green Bay. Not sure it will happen, but things do suggest there is some interest. "Interest" being the key word. We shall see.

I think Dallas as so much more to offer KC would prefer to trade with them. If LJ was traded!
