RB Pierre Thomas (MCL) is questionable to play in season opener?

According to Nola.com, Saints RB Pierre Thomas (MCL) said on Friday that he is "questionable" for the Saints' season opener against the Lions. "It means a lot, and I really want to play in the opener — but I don't want to cause any more damage," Thomas said. "I don't want to take a chance where I just play this game and don't play out the season. I want to be smart about it."

Smitty: Even if Thomas' health improves quickly, he still won't likely be 100 percent come the opener. Start planning on being without Thomas for Week 1. Thomas should still have a big season, so if you still have not drafted, use Thomas' current injury status to your advantage and grab him below his pre-injury ADP. Yea, he will miss one game, but he might score double-digit touchdowns in 2009 – He is a solid RB2 this year. As for Week 1, assuming Thomas sits, Reggie Bush should be a solid start. Mike Bell will see some touches in Week 1 as well. PJ Hill is another option.

I'm loving this possibility because I have Bush (and Colston) and I'm playing against a team with Thomas in week one!  We'll see how it plays out but Bush and Colston could really tear up the Lions.  Can't wait to see the updated Weekly Projections if Thomas does actually sit.
