Chatman shouldn’t be a free agent well, unless you’re in a small league.
Tough break.

surprisingly hes free in almost everyone of my leagues, so dont be too sure, its worth checking for sure…the unfortunate thing is they didnt wait a day to announce it, so now its going to be waiver priority that wins the mad rush. So if your losing, good chance you can get him, if you are winning, enjoy watching someone else grab him.

Caddy, Brown, AP, Portis, McGahee,? Did the other guy in your league think he had to draft a different position from you?

I just checked most of my leagues… Chatman is owned in almost every Expert League we’re in, but there are a few… so like Weekend said, check! Be sure to check!

I had that much depth because it is a keeper league and I have built that depth through trades over the last couple years.

Nice!, I was just screwin around, thats awsome that you were able to build that kinda of superstar depth. Keep It Up!

Thanks! What do you guys think is the long term value for Brown?? I don’t know how long a torn ACL usually sidelines a RB for. Will he be back and good to go for next season? or will he miss the start of next season??

That’s a great question and I don’t think there will be a consistent answer out there… Honestly, we still need to find out how bad the knee is, what else is wrong with it? PCL, MCL along with the ACL?
Once we know those things, we will better know how to predict his future. Given he walked off the field, he may have torn just his ACL alone… that would be good news, but it still takes RBs a full year to recover, so I’m not sure he will sniff top 10 numbers next year. On top of that, his biggest upside his his hard running and cutting… his ability to drag a pile and take a hit. This will extremely affect his style of play, something that could alter his overall value for good.
I am not optimistic that he will ever be back to that top 4ish type talent he was earlier this year… I just don’t see it, but anything is possible. Let’s see how bad the knee is first.
