There are several media outlets letting on to that Brady Quinn could be traded to the Packers for Aaron Rodgers and a 2nd rd. pick….. This is a very interesting deal Quin would serve as true replacement to Favre instead of Mr. Rodgers go back to your own neighborhood.

I think GB has plenty of confidence in Mr. Rodgers (pun intended) and they will give him a shot.

Never gonna happen. The Browns will never take less than a 1st and a 3rd…and they might want more than that from GB cuzz their picks are so late.

I think the Browns need to entertain some kind of trade for Quinn.

PAFAS is right. Quinn is so young I can’t see him being a “good soldier” and keeping quiet. He’s already stated he wants to start which is natural but it comes on the heels of Anderson signing and being named the starter. I’m not surprised a trade is being explored but once other teams hear about it they’ll get involved…Miami or Atl, just off the top.

Why is everyone down on Mr Rodgers? I admit I’ve not seen much of him. But he seemed to do well last year in that game he subbed.
Also according the the rumors that the Pack nudged Favre out- why would they do that if they did no think they had an adequate replacement in place?
Conflicting rumors eh?

With no link rumors have less validity.
I with Brain on this one…all things being equal, I’d rather see what Rodgers has.

Rumors about Sage Rosenfels to GB make more sense. Packers wouldn’t trade Rogers plus something else for Quinn. Doesn’t make sense from football or finacial standpoint. Rogers at least has practiced and knows the offense.

I doubt very much this will happen. I did read some speculation on it. It had a lot to do with Quinn’s agent trying to get Quinn into a situation where he can play because his contract is so incentive based.
If Rogers can stay healthy I think he will be ok in GB.

Green Bay used a 1st round pick on Rodgers and they are going to roll with him for at least one year.
And it really is that simple.
