I am in a similar situation, I am going with McFadden.  But the concensus has really been to go with LJ.  My reasoning behind it is KC is going to be playing from behind the entire game I only see LJ getting around 15 carries on the game 60yds possible score.  NE only allowed 3 100 yard rushers all last season .  The smart move would be to play LJ.  But luckily in my situation I am playing the softest team in the league week 1 so I can afford to be a little dangerous.
