We all know that McFadden is the guy — not Fargas. But I am increasingly worried about whether McGahee will play much or at all. So I am very tempted to plug Fargas in for McGahee. Looking more and more like this will be a game time decision, and I won't be anywhere near a computer at game time. So I would actually need to make this decision tonight or very early AM. Other options are not really serious options in week one — Lamont Jordan, Jacob Hester and Darren Sproles, Mike Hart, Aaron Stecker, and Lorenzo Booker.

McGahee would worry me too. Actually he's been bugging me to no end because I have Rice and am trying to determine if I should use him or not. Anyway.. if he does play I really don't see it being a significant amount or at least a productive amount. I'd go with Fargas and feel pretty decent about it. It's not a glamorous pick and the prospect of going with Fargas over McGahee, while unnerving, would be the right call, especially if you don't have access to a computer to check his status. I'd much rather go damn Willis played and played good (which would be a bonus and a load off Willis owners) than going DAMN, I knew I shoulda started Fargas! The Raiders are gonna run a ton too and as far as I know, Denver's run D still isn't all that spectacular so Fargas will most likely get his regardless.

Veteran RB’s heal suddenly when the games count and there is a talented rook waiting in the wings. If McGahee starts I’ll go with him, if not Fargas is the best of what is left.
Having to make the decision tonite Fargas is the safe bet. The guy can run and Oakland can run block. If he gets 15 touches he’ll produce.

If McGahee come tomorrow is full out go, run with him. He is playing for respect. I think this whole thing is motivational. Trust Mort in the morning.LOL He is only guy on ESPN I trust, but he comes legit 9 out of 10.
