ATTLEBORO - Staggered by Thursday’s storm? Another one is on the way this weekend, though early indications are that it may be more rain than snow in the Attleboro area.
An alert issued Thursday night by the National Weather Service bureau in Taunton says the weekend storm may begin as light snow Saturday evening, turning first to snow after midnight before switching to rain, sleet and snow in the morning and then all rain as temperatures climb into the lower 40s.
The storm could end with snow showers Sunday afternoon or evening.
That could have a strong impact on the New York Jets-New England Patriots game in Foxboro.
There’s a good chance of some melting from Thursday’s storm today as the Weather Service predicts mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-40s.
The mercury is not expected to rise above 20 Sunday night or Monday.
I’ll post updates here as we get closer to game time. The last update will be Sunday…as close to game time (12:30?) as reasonable.
Gillette Stadium is closer to these towns, than to Boston.

In that case i have a dilemma. I have Welker starting right now with Driver and C. Henry ridin’ the pine. So what would you recommend?

This is great news for me playing Moss and Stallworth!!!
Does anybody see this bumping up Thomas Jones value? probably not, just asking since it could be strictly running game if 50mph winds.
Narcosis80 I think your situation is a must you stay glued to the info Sunday morning. Your in the middle of the weather wig out. Sunday Morning we will truely know what is going on. Welker should fair rather well if conditions are OK, if 50 mph winds run games will be going. I would pencil in Driver then go from there. The Cinci game tomorrow doesn’t have good weather either doesn’t seem, not as bad as NE but not ideal. Keep eye on Housh, and if he deceides it isn’t worth risking injury Henry could have game. Housh plays wait till Sunday and go between Welker and Driver based on looks of weather.

The field at Gillette will be covered and (from the talking heads) won’t be as big a factor as older fields…this one is only two-three years old.
So far, I’m sticking with Brady, Moss and Welker for the week-end.

I wouldn’t be able to bench Brady or Moss, no way… just couldn’t, but I would consider Driver over Welker if the weather is as expected, which could be 50 MPH wind gusts and a whole lot of rain or snow. The snow may turn to rain by Sunday, so I hear.

I play Moss this weekend, so I’m hoping for reduced production.

Weather for this game is quite good. It is in SF and sunny 50 F, 10% chance of precip, light winds…weather won’t be a factor.
