Who would you start: Calvin Johnson, Maroney or Patten.
Opponent has Brees so I’m leaning towards Patten.
Calvin should get a lot of balls thrown his way in SD.
I know once I bench Maroney, he’ll score. Especially in un-throwable weather.
Please help!!
Welcome to the site ringside!
I’ve been waiting for Maroney to become fantasy relevant for the last month. It wasn’t until I saw some game film recently that I recognized that he’s not getting any blocking to help in the running.
That Brees is starting for your opponent isn’t a good enough reason to start Patten. His targets for the last four games are 4,5,1,10. If we knew he’d get 7+targets a game, that would be enough.
C.Johnson has gone 3,15,3,8 in targets, not exactly the upswing we thought he would get once Williams went out.
Maroney is a huge risk for the playoffs…but with 20-30 mile per hour winds possible in Foxboro is theplayer with the most potential.
Calvin should get 7-8 targets against a middling pass defense (sans “Light Out” is a plus)
Patten has a favorable matchup vs Arizona…IF he gets the targets.
Depending on what y ou need from your players…
Maroney is a HUGE risk…but the weather may comspire to help you.
CJ is probably the safest play.
Patten is a tier below CJ even with the favorable match-up.
I’d be starting Maroney if it were my team…
C Johnson would be next.
