Matt Schaub is coming off a poor performance against Buffalo.  Schaub completed 24 out of 34 for 268 yards and two interceptions and no touchdowns.  The competition had a lot to do with that as the Buffalo Bills are currently the 11th best team against the pass.  This week Schaub goes against the 7th best team against the pass, the Indianapolis Colts in Indianapolis.

Alex Smith goes against the absolute worst team in the league against the pass, the Tennessee Titans.

There's no comparison about who is the better QB with the best weapons.  It's Matt Schuab, hands down.  However, he's got a tough match-up in a hostile environment.  Should I play the percentages and go with Smith?  Or should I stick with my stud?

I'm in a similar position with deciding to play Schaub or Hasselbeck, who's facing the Lions this week.

Normally it would be an easy call, and I just picked up Hasselbeck this week for the points projected, but Schaub could still really pull out a great week against against an injured Indy defense.

We discussed this earlier in the week.  Alex Smith has never had a 300 yard passing game.  He might throw for 2 tds as the matchup is good but Indy has built it's defensive ranking against some questionable QBs.  I'd start Schaub over Smith but I'd go with Hass over Schaub. :)
