WHAT DO YOU GUYS HAVE AGAINST THE BENGALS??? THEY PLAY THE STEELERS AT HOME AFTER BEATING CHICAGO ON THE ROAD AND YOU PREDICT A SHOTOUT. NOW……THEY PLAY THE FEARED RAVENS AT HOME AND ONCE AGAIN YOU PREDICT A SHUTOUT. MAYBEE YOU MISSED IT BUT THEY BEAT THE STEELERS. WHY DON'T YOU JUST DISCLOSE WHAT IT IS YOU DON'T LIKE ABOUT THEM.

Do we always get it right? Absolutely not, but these are predictions and we have got this kind of reaction before… it isn't the first time :)

We're Xtreme here, not in a blind rage just to be different, but is this type of prediction really that unheard of? To predict a shutout when the Ravens are involved? First off, a shutout can occur on ANY given Sunday, so honestly I don't think anyone should call anyone crazy for EVER predicting one… they happen. So that said, not sure why that would be that crazy to predict one when the Ravens are involved. The Ravens may not be as good as they once were on defense, but they can still put together shutout performances… On top of that…

Chad Ochocinco sent the entire Ravens defense deodorant gift baskets as a way of saying they stink. We predict this backfires in the worst of ways, is that really that crazy to think this way?

Welcome to the forums! Keep it coming.

Yes….it is crazy and it would not be if you guys were not wrong so often. You did not answer the question by the way. It would appear you do not like Chad Johnson. For that you punish all of us. Hey…next week write an article about what great predictions you made and ignore all the bad ones.

Interesting that you equate wins and losses in previous weeks in order to connect the dots and prove how one team will beat another.  Let's see… the Giants destroy the Raiders… then the Raiders beat the Eagles a few weeks later… and then the Eagles destroy the Giants after that.  Previous wins and losses mean nothing on any given Sunday, and while I won't be predicting a shutout for the Ravens, is it really that hard to believe?  The Ravens have been a top shelf defense for years – it's not like it can't happen.  If you don't agree, fine, but don't come out and act like your reasoning is better than someone elses when all we are really doing is predicting the future.  It isn't black and white and Smitty's predictions have nothing to do with likes and dislikes, I can guarantee you that.

1:41 Bengals 14 Ravens 0. All predictions should be based on past games. I asked him what he has against Cincy. I am not a fan. But I did pay for this service and thats the 2nd shutout he predisted against Cincy. He didn't answer the question.

I have nothing against the Bengals. Also, we do the projections as a staff and 2-3 of us do them each week. So it's not always me making the Bengals predictions, but I will admit that this week it was me that threw those together. We offer a wide variety of opinions here at FFX, which is what makes us unique. For example, if you listed to Tavaner's FFX Radio show on Sat, you would have heard him talk up the Bengals offense for this contest.

We never claim to be perfect here at FFX, but we do take bold shots from time to time and you can ask around about our accuracy. We have brought our users some big-time breakouts in Adrian Peterson, Michael Turner, MJD, Rice this year.. and MANY MANY more… Our biggest buy low weeks ago was DeAngelo.. we're going to hit and miss my friend. That's the way this works, but I have to say we have some impressive hits like the DeAngelos, etc… Missing is gonna happen and we take Xtreme chances, hence the domain name. But again, its calculated, though.  On the Bengals front, we even predicted Carson Palmer's rise back during his one breakout season. I've been a big Bengals supporter in years past and it was I who predicted Carson Palmer's breakout season in a live radio interview calling him a top 5 fantasy QB when almost no site around had him as even a fantasy starter heading into that breakout season. I have nothing against the Bengals and I did this week's predictions for the Bengals games, not last weeks. My reasoning for this week's projections are above, again having to do with Chad's deodorant gift basket creations.

Anyway, I thought I'd “answer” your question. There was nothing to answer, because I have nothing against the Bengals and I explained why I predicted the way I predicted up above.

Thanks for your comments.
