Listen I'll be the first to compliment this site on it's content and community friendly forums. For that I'm very appreciative.
But I paid a subscription fee last summer to maintain inside access to this site's best tools.
I get on a few weeks ago without logging in, and I was able to access all the same tools and benefits I thought everyone had to pay for.
Is FFX now free?
If not, when does subscribers only benefits begin? When do subscribers only benefits end? After the season?
I just don't like the idea that I'm paying for benefits everyone else can enjoy for free.

The Site locks down August 1 my man. Some things are free, like forums and news, but the following are for subscribers on Aug. 1:
- - Fantasy Articles
- - Spotlights
- - Dynasty Top 200, Dynasty Cheat Sheet
- - Redraft Top 200, Redraft Cheat Sheet
- - Trade Calc
- - Weekly Projections (over 200 impact players, updated WEEKLY up to kickoff)
- - Start Bench Advice
- - Full season projections (Aug-kickoff, then weekly projections still are for subscribers only)
There is a lot to it and it's all for subscribers. Answer your question, TT5? We offer a free off-season every season so everyone can test drive the product!

The fact that I can question the operational procedure and get an answer, let alone a straight forward answer, is another testament to FFX cred. and why I like what's going on here.
Been tapping into FFX for 18 months and a subscriber for the last 12. I'm a believer!

You got it my man. We have no problem explaining it. Some got mad last year when we started charging again, but really we only went free for one year to grow and give back. But really, fantasy mags are 9 bucks and are outdated before they hit the stand. 19.99 might not be in the budget for some, and some may get enough from our free features (and anyone not paying is still enjoying some pretty nice features in news, forums, live mock drafts….), but others see it as worth the price of two mags to get always-updated rankings, projections, articles, tools, spotlights (with hints as to whom the next Turner is, etc)… all that is a ton of info for 19.99 IMO.
Hey, and I wont say what it is, but get ready for one of our biggest additions yet. Oops, did I say that?
Keep your eyes locked on the Site. I can't say when or what. :)

By the way, our 2009 Week 1 Fantasy Football Player Projections are just about ready. They will be updated all the way up to kickoff, do not worry.
Who else cranks this out in July? If you aren't a subscriber, test drive these projections, this is what you get on a weekly basis (and usually posted on Tues early morning after the Monday night game. We don't mess around and we update them all the way to kickoff. People tell us that our Weekly Projections alone are worth 19.99.
