 how can i put a picture up there for my name ?

At the top of this page you'll see a “Profile” button (right above the “inbox” button) - click that and on that page scroll half way down to the Upload Avatar: area.  Hit the browse button and point to the picture you want to use.  Can only be 50 x 50 pixels max.
