“This is my first serious year in fantasy football and i had searched “fantasy football 2008? on yahoo! and this site was the 8th one down from the top. “…I found this site close to about a month and a half ago. It has been a god-sent. I’ve placed the site on my favorite tabs at home and yes even at work. Probably the most thorough site with the most up-to-date information and stats i’ve ever seen. Plus the added bonus is you have a variety or smart minds with different opinions that help you at the end of the day. I’ve had questions answered for me that I ponder were too stupid to ask and they were crisp and to the point. When I first saw it in depth I wanted to kiss my screen it was that bad. I told Tav at one point I loved the site so much I wanted to tell my buds in my pool about it but then stop cause I wanted the clear cut advantage. (me being greedy I know). Basketball has a 6th man, I have this site.”

I picked up Kevin Jones in week 4 after a Detroit Free Press link you had saying he would be back sooner than expected. “I’m in the same boat as the rest of you all. Other sites don’t even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence in my opinion. The content and the people I believe are what set FFX apart from all of the others. A part of me is wanting to let others in my league know about it but at the same time I don’t want them getting the same quality of info that I believe I get from this site. I too browsed the forums for about a year before I became a member and began to post and I regret not joining sooner. I’ll also second everyone else in saying that it is great to actually be able to post and have people respect your opinion even if they don’t agree and to not be attacked personally for it. I always feel like I get great feedback when I post questions and also enjoy sharing my views with other xtremers. I love the site!”

I’m not going to name any names, but some of these other sites just don’t make the cut when it comes to having everything a true Fantasy Football owner needs (draft sim, trade calc, just to name a few). Posting with Fantasy Football Extremers you always gotta bring your A-game and nothing less. That’s something you will find helpful as well because you can always find the members talking about topics that really matter and have substance. Another thing I like is that there isn’t that unnecessary bickering that you can find yourself in when dealing with some owners in the fantasy world. You know, the kind that goes on back and forth until the both of you actually forget what it was you were originally talking about. It’s good stuff! I’m glad to have found it.”

“2 primary reasons I like this place so much… 1) It’s active… 2) The people that are here are more interested in talking FF and less interested in branding people as “idiots†or whatever because their opinion differs. I have some pretty off-the-wall opinions about players and many times, it’s just my gut speaking. People may disagree, but I’ve not seen a flamewar here, even once, and that is what leads to excellent discussion rather than ridiculous flaming. So congrats to Smitty and Tav for running a tight and well-develop ship, and congrats to the denizens of FFX for keeping this place all about FF discussion rather than making it a battleground.”
